WILLIAM CALEY | LIGHTING DESIGN

Welcome! I'm Will, a lighting designer creating live theatre, pantomime, opera, dance, and civic events, based in East Anglia and London. My recent work includes: Cinderella at Ipswich Regent (2025); The Boy in the Ocean at Camden Fringe (2026); and Pirates of Penzance (2026). Since 2023 I have been a resident lighting designer for visiting shows at the Riverside Theatre, Woodbridge, and am currently studying at Rose Bruford College!

I am also a passionate theatre historian and enjoy collaborating with venues to retell their stories and celebrate what makes theatre great! In 2025 I produced a feature documentary and published my first book on theatre history, The Riverside Project. 

I am always looking for new projects to collaborate on, either in lighting or in history, and any opportunities are always greatly appreciated!
